On Wednesday (26), an asteroid about 300 meters in size will pass close to Earth. According to the European Space Agency (ESA), the asteroid named 2006 HV5 will pass at approximately six times the distance between Earth and the Moon, which is equivalent to 2.4 million kilometers from the surface. Despite being a rare event and traveling at a speed of 61,000 km/h, the ESA has assured that there is no risk of collision. However, the bad news for observers is that the asteroid will pass during the daytime, making it difficult to see despite its size.
